After 2 years of discussion and planning and several months of preparation Northern Light was ready to start on a great adventure "America's Great Loop" around the Eastern USA. The Adverture began on Sep 10, 2008 and was completed Jul 1, 2009, It was the trip of a lifetime!
Northern Light is a 41 foot Tartan sailboat owned by Brad & Susan Light. Home port of Charlevoix, Michigan.

Heading South - The Great Loop Begins
With great anticipation, the Voyage of 6000 miles finally begins. Northern Light departs her dock at North West Marina in Charlevoix at 10am today.
