Sue and I have spent the week enjoying the area and meeting new friends in the marina while trying to stay warm. The marina is located right across the street from the beautiful white sand Clearwater beach. However we have not had beach weather since Susan’s arrival. The last two nights have had hard freezes with cool breezy days. But now the forecast looks great for the next week or so.

Dolphin riding our bow wake today in the Gulf
We went out the Clearwater Pass this morning and sailed in the Gulf until we passed Tampa Bay and entered the intracoastal waterway near Anna Maria Island in the early afternoon. The 45 mile trip ended when we arrived at the Bradenton Beach Marina on Anna Maria Island mid-afternoon. We will stay here for the weekend. The ready access to the beach should come in handy since the weekend calls for sunny days with temps in the mid 70’s. Monday we plan to head off for Sarasota.

Ahoy, neighbors!! All is well and very quiet here in Essexville. We have had some beautiful sunny skies here for the second day in a row. It actually hit a record high of about 47 degrees and we have taken advantage of the sun. It is great to see the snow melting a bit. Safe journeys and we love watching your progress. Love from the Millers
Hey,
Thanks for all the pictures. I especially like the one with the dolphins swimming alongside the boat.
I was pretty excited about doing some raking in the yard yesterday. I have to admit tho' that it would be WAY MORE EXCITING to be watching those dolphins.
Enjoy all those sights, sounds, smells, people, places, yadayadayada, for those of us back home.
Love ya,
Denise
Brad & Sue: Thanks for sharing the photos & stories of your journey! I, too, just like Denise, enjoy the photo of the dolphin. How fun for you both! I miss you but am glad that you are enjoying this opportunity to do something you enjoy together, sail. Safe journies and God Bless you! Love, Tina
Hey Brad & Sue! Love all the photos, and Brett wants to know who won that card game in the photo? Lauren's class is coming over on Friday to snowshoe and sled in our backyard - so be assured that we still have plenty of snow up here! We still need to get in some skiing before we head west. We're still holding onto the hope that Andrew will join us for a few days! Love and safe journeys to all of you!
