We got an early start again today at 7:15am on our way down the Mississippi River. Only two locks today on the river, the Mel Price Lock and the Chain of Rocks Lock, both went well and we locked down all together with 8 other Loopers. We passed by the big Arch about noon. The view was spectacular from the water and we wanted to share it with all of you.
We made it to our destination at “Hoppies” at Kimmswick, MO (About 20 miles SW of St Louis) about 3:30pm and had a river discussion with Fern Hopkins and the other Loopers to learn the current river conditions and suggestions for good places to anchor on our way to Green Turtle Bay Marina and Kentucky Lakes.

Jay & Northern Light,
You guys are making good time again. I figured with the current and a little lock luck you would make Hoppies today. I've been tracking your progress on my inland charts

OOOOHHH - That view is spectacular. Thanks for sharing it. It's getting chilly up here at night so you're heading in the right direction.
